- If we can’t recover, you don’t pay. No recovery, no charge for the recovery work. (Cleanroom or third-party lab fees, when needed, are quoted up front and require your approval.)

What to Do (and NOT Do) Right Now
DON’T Power It On Repeatedly
If the drive is failing mechanically, every spin-up causes more damage. Power it down and leave it alone until we can examine it.
DON’T Run “Recovery Software”
Free recovery tools can overwrite the very data they’re trying to find. If the data matters, don’t risk it.
DON’T Open the Drive
Hard drives must be opened in cleanroom conditions. A single dust particle on a platter can cause permanent data loss.
DO Power It Off Immediately
If you hear clicking, beeping, or grinding — unplug or shut down right now and bring it in.
DO Note What Happened
